Our goal for this initiative is to make an immediate impact together by improving the appearance of our adopted neighborhood - which is Cedar Lane from Hickory Ridge Rd to Harpers Farm Rd

About the event
Why adopt a road?
Dept of Public Works commitment to providing the citizens with a clean and environmentally safe community.
AACR’s opportunity to be seen as a steward in beautifying our areas of concern/neighborhoods needing TLC
Who can participate?
Participation is open to any individual member and their family members of 12 years or older.
Members younger than 16 must be supervised by an adult (18 years or older).
At least one adult is required for every five participants younger than 16.
What am I expected to do?
Volunteers monitor/pickup litter & debris on a selected road, which will be a 1-3mile stretch.
4x/year for at least two years (April 29, July 8, August 26 & Oct 28).
What materials do I need?
Portable safety warning signs, safety vests, and plastic bags for use during clean-up activities will be provided.
Recommended clean-up attire includes light-colored clothing, long sleeved shirts, brightly colored hats, heavy gloves and sturdy soled footwear.
